← Back to The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Alternate Path
Scene

The fight was brutal. Driven by a primal need to survive, Utterson struck Hyde down with the axe handle. The creature lay still. As Utterson caught his breath, the body shifted, revealing the face of Henry Jekyll, battered and dead by Utterson's own hand. The lawyer collapsed, broken by the knowledge that in destroying the monster, he had killed the friend he sought to save.
